SWS chooses to use superior performing components, like Guardian's ClimaGuard RLE for our Low E option. The ClimaGuard RLE Low E is technologically advanced to provide superior efficiency while providing natural views. SWS insulates the ClimaGuard Low E with Super Spacer®, a true Warm Edge Spacer. Super Spacer is manufactured using an all foam formula which provides a significant energy advantage to metal spacers that conduct cold. All of our DuraGard products meet Energy Star Requirements. The DuraGard XT family is available in either new construction or replacement styles.

The DuraGard XT Double Hung, manufactured by SWS, has one of the best U-Value ratings in the windows with double pane insulated glass. Our U-Value for Low E, Argon gas filled 7/8" overall airspace is 0.29. While that alone is reason enough, SWS didn't stop there.
